Today in Media, we looked at the codes and conventions of Radio Trailers;
- Narrator is either male or female and they speak in standard English
- Music with no lyrics is used in the background and it links to the theme or topic of the documentary
- Uses extracts from the documentaries
- Uses sound effects
- Lasts between 30 and 40 seconds
- Beginning grabs the attention of the audience
- Uses the same voice over as in the documentary
- Scheduling is usually in a different voice
- Same theme and slogan used in both the Radio trailer and the documentary
